Ham and Cheese Orzo Bake

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups cooked orzo
  • ¾ cup heavy cream or half and half
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cups diced deli ham

Instructions
 

  • Combine the cooked orzo, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until evenly coated.
  • Add the heavy cream and chicken broth and stir until combined
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9X19-inch baking dish
  • Fold in the ham until it is distributed evenly throughout the dish.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly
