Creamy Hot Jalapeno CrockPot Chicken
Creamy Hot Jalapeno Crock Pot Chicken is an easy-to-make recipe made with minimal ingredients and just a few simple steps. Shredded chicken is cooked in a delicious, creamy sauce made from cream cheese, salsa verde, and spices, with an extra kick from the pickled jalapenos.

1 lb Chicken thighs or bone-in 1 cup Cream cheese - softened 2 cloves Garlic 1 tsp Cumin ½ cup White onion 2 cups Chicken Broth 1 cup Buttermilk 7 oz can Pickled Jalapeno peppers ½ cup Green Salsa Verde 2 Yellow, Orange or Red Peppers sliced thinly Cilantro - Chopped without the stems Hot Sauce a few dashes optional Salt & Pepper Lime Juice
Pour buttermilk into a shallow dish, add chicken, and let it sit for 5 minutes, flipping onto the other side in between
Remove the chicken from the dish and lay it on the bottom of a crockpot, pouring the chicken broth over the top
Place the cream cheese on top and then add the salsa verde
Add peppers, onion, hot sauce, jalapeno peppers, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and cumin and mix all ingredients together
Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours
Shred chicken and add a couple dash of hot sauce (optional)
Top with chopped cilantro and lime juice
