Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mexican style blend shredded cheese. Shredded cheddar will also work.
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ cup dry white wine If you love the taste of wine in your fondue, you can increase the amount of wine to 1 cup but you may need to add a little extra corn starch to thicken it up a bit.
  • black pepper to taste (optional)

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a sauce pan.
  • Heat the sauce pan on medium-low and whisk until all of the ingredients are melted and combined. If you're using a slow cooker, turn it on "high" and periodically whisk the ingredients until they are melted and combined. Adjust the setting to "warm" while you serve the dip.
  • Serve with pieces of gluten free baguette, deli counter roast beef (thick cut or sliced thin and serve on a toothpick), tortilla chips or carrot or celery sticks.
