Jello Zombie Brains
Super spooky Jello Zombie Brains are so creepy that your party guests might be scared to give them a try! But once they do, they'll be sure to grab more because these slimy Halloween treats are actually super tasty.
Ingredients
- 6 ounces lime Jello or Simple Mixes brand gelatin I order Simple Mixes from Amazon
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup fat-free evaporated milk
- Cooking spray
- ⅓ cup cherry jelly - strawberry or raspberry will also work
- Don't forget you'll need a silicone brain mold for these treats. Popular Halloween stores usually carry a large brain mold but I really like serving bite sized treats at Halloween parties. You can find bite-sized brain molds on Amazon.
Instructions
- Pour the contents of the Jello packets into a large bowl.
- Add one cup boiling water and stir until it's completely dissolved.
- Pour one cup of cold water into the mixture and stir until combined.
- Add one cup evaporated milk to the Jello and stir until combined.
- Lightly spray the silicone molds with cooking spray.
- Fill the molds with the mixture and refrigerate until solid.
- Once the gelatin has set you can remove the brains from the molds.
- Mix the jelly with 1/4 cup water and pour a small amount over each brain. I like to add the jelly mixture to a zip lock bag and cut a small portion off the corner for a homemade piping bag.
