½cupbuffalo sauce. Any buffalo sauce will do the trick but my absolute favorite is Primal Kitchen Original Buffalo Sauce. This dairy free wing sauce is big on heat and flavor without any artificial ingredients.
½cupblue cheese dressing
6ouncesshredded cheddar cheese or Monterey jack cheese
⅓cupblue cheese crumbles
⅓cupfinely sliced green onions
Instructions
Bake tater tots according to package or until fully cooked and crispy.
Combine buffalo sauce, blue cheese dressing and 3 oz of shredded cheese. Pour over the top of crispy tater tots and top with remaining 3 oz of shredded cheese. Bake at 425 degrees for 5-7 minutes.
Remove from oven and top with blue cheese crumbles and finely sliced green onions.
Notes
If you prefer ranch, you can substitute the blue cheese dressing for ranch dressing. Instead of topping the tots with fresh blue cheese and green onions, try using finely diced celery and carrots. To make this recipe vegan, simply replace the blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing with vegan blue cheese dressing or vegan ranch dressing and skip the shredded cheese and crumbles.
