Hi, We’re Cassie & Amy 👋

Welcome to TwoSistersMixItUp — a family food blog filled with easy, comforting easy family recipes made for real life, and lots of yummy desserts! Every recipe is tested in our kitchen several times so you can feel confident making them! Many of them are also family-tested recipes passed down from our grandmother and mom.

We’re sisters, moms to six kids between the two of us (ages 6–20), and believers that dinner doesn’t have to be complicated to be good. Between busy schedules, picky eaters, special diets, and trying to keep meals somewhat healthy, we know how hard it can be to get food on the table that everyone actually wants to eat.

That’s exactly why we created this site with simple family recipes. Plus Cassie loves to bake, so you’ll find LOTS of yummy treats and desserts!

Cassie — Vegetarian & Plant-Forward

Cassie eats vegetarian, which means we also share plenty of meatless meals, vegetarian recipes, and plant-based recipes that are hearty, filling, and family-approved.

Together, we make sure you’ll always find something everyone can enjoy — no matter how mixed your household is.
