Salted Chocolate Oatmeal Energy Bites
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp protein powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips or 2 blocks of melting chocolate melting chocolate will dry a lot faster

Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients except 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips and mix together well
- Shape into 1" balls and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and put in the freezer for 15 minutes
- In a small bowl, add the remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1 tbsp coconut oil
- Heat in the microwave at 30 second increments, stirring between each, until it becomes smooth
- Using a slotted spoon, dip each ball into the chocolate making sure to cover the entire thing and place on the parchment paper
- Let the chocolate cool for about 5 minutes and then sprinkle sea salt on top
- Place back in the freezer for 15 minutes or until chocolate is fully dry
